Are you a nut for airplanes? If so, the Aviator series has a number of watches related to aeronautical graphical history, so you’ll love them. Aviator watches also have specific features, making them perfect for pilots.
We just had to choose the 17203 as our Aviator pick.
Although it’s fit for the air, you can use it underwater as the watch is water-resistant up to 100 m (330 feet). What’s more, it has a stainless steel body which means you never have to worry about corrosion.
Everything is in silver except for its dial and case. The case is
rose gold. Its stainless steel body is plated with the material as well. This is a nice touch, especially considering how cheap the watch is.
However, the watch is huge. Its case stretches 48 mms (1.88 inches) across, so keep this in mind.
As Invicta prefers Quartz watches, the 17203 has a Japanese Quartz mechanism. If you’re a pilot, this is the best move as Quartz watches are the most accurate.
If you can’t get enough of sub-dials, the Aviator is for you. There are 3 chronographs, one for the 60 minutes passed, the other for 60 seconds passed and the final one for 1/10th seconds.
There’s
a tachymeter that fits the theme of flying, but as a pilot, would you actually need this? And of course, there’s a fully-fledged compass you can use.
The true icing on the cake is the watch’s
sapphire display so you know it can take a beating.
